Electroacoustic composer, composes for tape (digital media) and/or live musicians, often mixing live and prerecorded electronics in live performances and other times performing live electronics. Former rock musician, crossed over into new music 2002, studied composition privately and at city Lit (together with music technology).

Interested in post-minimalism, ambient music, spectralism/ Spectromorphological approaches. Interested in electroacoustic music since hearing Eno’s Ambient 4 (on land) in 1987, Likes to mix rock and classical instrumentation. Influenced by environments, visuals, being outside.

Equally happy doing solo live electronic diffusion/ performance/ acousmatic pieces with Laptop. Commissions have included the London 2012 cultural Olympiad (Distance/ Time), Epiphany for Organ and Live electronics (2013) and has had music performed at Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival 2013.

Forthcoming commissions include Spriralsounds for an inflatable, portable 48 speaker system as part of Sonophilia. Premiere Oct 2014 Lincoln Castle.
