spectral-stories-eflyerHugs Bison return to Barrow Library on December 17th to bring another live performance based around the written word.

We first played there at the start of our incubator research scheme, funded by Sound and Music, so it is wonderful to finish the year off there.

Spectral Stories is a modern take on the tradition of Christmas Ghost stories and we will be giving it a very modern update with a combination of spoken word performances and improvised digital music.

To make it all even more Christmasy  we are joined by some very dear friends that will be reading specially written short stories and poems. We have, returning from Salford for the occasion Sarah Miller, John Hall from Octopus Collective and local poets Ann Wilson and Kate Davis.

The event runs from 4pm to 6pm and we would love to see you there. Bring the family for a spine tingly series of yuletime yarns.

If you and your dear family can’t make it in person then why not huddle round the nearest smart device and listen online at hugsbison.com as we’ll be broadcasting the whole thing live.

Here’s the recording of our last visit to Barrow Library
